To get to Hamilton Island all you have to do is fly from Melbourne, Sydney or Brisbane to the airport that is located on the island which is serviced daily by Jetstar and Virgin Blue Airlines. Or you also have to choice to fly from the major Australia cities into Proserpine from where you will catch a connecting shuttle bus into the gateway to the Whitsunday Islands, Airlie Beach. It is from Airlie Beach you will make your way to Shute Harbour and jump on board the Fantasea Ferry boat that will take you to Hamilton Island.
